Website Analysis & Evaluation
Despite having a beautiful design, a lot of web sites do not get the required traffic and business and fail to meet the objectives. There are other things than simply enriching the content to make it visible in search engines. Other factors might hinder a web site being search engine friendly. To avoid these cases we do a thorough web site evaluation. The basic aim of website evaluation is to detect any lacuna in a web site that makes it incompatible to search engines and modify the site to make it more compatible to get a higher ranking.
We do the evaluation of your site across various search engines, and recommend specific steps for rectifying any incompatibilities. There might be technical, design, navigation, content, link popularity issues:
Search engines do not accept frames that are normally in HTML so the first thing that ValuePitch Interactive does while doing web site evaluation is to check for frames. Frames have a home page of the web site and hardly any content, which reduces the chances of the site getting ranked at all by the search engines. So we suggest adding a 'no frame' tag to the frame to get the site listed. Addition of title tag and Meta tag is also undertaken to get optimum results.
Most search engines do not list web sites containing dynamic URLs. A dynamic URL contains $,&,+ ,? and = signs in the URL. Search engines cannot list Flash. Home pages of web sites use Flash as a 'splash' page. Also hyperlinks made with splash cannot be spidered by search engines. This results in the splash pages and hyperlinks not getting listed by the search engines. ValuePitch Interactive in its website evaluation program detects any such short comings and rectifies it by avoiding the submission of any page that has Flash and adding as much page copy as possible to the page. There are also ways in which hyperlinks can be tweaked to make the web site search engine compatible.
Image maps are made up of codes. The search engine gets entangled in the codes and cannot spider the site. If such a problem is detected by our web site evaluation program, then we change your image maps to HTML hyperlinks, otherwise the site does not get listed. Search engines follow standard HTML hyperlinks properly but do not follow links that are within JavaScript. Experts at ValuePitch Interactive during the process of website evaluation rectify this so that your site has some form standard HTML hyperlinks that the search engines can follow. They add some form of standard HTML hyperlinks to all of your pages on so that your site will be spidered properly.
The end result of site evaluation and analysis is to make site ready for search engines to read and index it as quickly and easily as possible.
